These are over at Walmart as well. I ordered multiple sets from both places and the Amazon ones suffered some unnecessary roughness. They were all packed the same by Altman and delivered UPS. Amazon must have theirs stored upside down in the warehouse or something. So YMMV on this.

Are you asking if you can plant them outside? I don't know what 7b is. You might want to consult with Altman. Indoors yes. The colors never change unless you are not taking proper care of them.

It depends on what varieties you are sent. Some, like hens and chicks, will survive. But you don't know what you are getting.

There's virtually zero chance that any of them would survive the winter in 7b. You're better off keeping these in planters that you can bring indoors once temps start dipping below 40°F at night.

Not all survived in 8b, but I propagated some of the ones that did, survival of the fittest! I've given up the hope that all my plants will survive the winter (and summer) and now my life is less stressful just budgeting ~$100 annually to replace plants.
