I haven't heard their Bronze line but I have had three generations of there Silver line and ended up building my home theater around the Silver RX series. I've had several center channels and other lines by them and they have all been very impressive except for the original Radius speakers that were extremely underwhelming. Whatever their shortcomings, the Radius HD lineup fixed them in a massive way and I have most of that lineup around the house in various positions (Radius 90 HD as front heights in my theater, 180 HD as bedroom stereo setup, etc.).

All of this is to say that I've tested multiple lines of Monitor Audio speakers and while I'm not someone who tends to be a brand fanboy (it just doesn't make sense to me when people can't remain objective), Monitor Audio will forever be the first brand I heard a pair of speakers that gave me a euphoric experience unlike any other. Just like any brand, they aren't pumping out perfection with every model they produce. However, this is the first brand I've truly fallen head over heels for their product lines on.

I wouldn't ever be able to justify these prices, personally, but I'm an extreme deal shopper and found everything I have for a fraction of what most people would have paid.

I've reached out to their company before for part replacement inquiries and they were extremely friendly and quick to provide their official distributers in the region that could help me get exactly what I needed (they are UK based and I'm in the US).

While I can't speak to this model speaker, I can speak to multiple other lines that I've demoed by them and their attention to customer service and they have an excellent track record in my book. Their sound signature won me over so strongly that I spent over a year acquiring all of the necessary speakers to completely change out my already excellent KEF home theater setup and have no regrets.

Best of luck folks. Hopefully everyone can find their sweet spot product!
FYI they also have the matching center on sale for $249.

Keep in mind the Bronze Series is their entry level model.
There is a significant jump to their Silver Series.
You can often find the Bronze on sale but this is one of the lowest in a while, not going obsolete(whatever that means).

Having conducted a 8 month audition over 10 years ago we also went with MA(GS).
I get people always talk about good or bad but imo that's a misconception.
There is no universal good or bad, it's just a preference.

Having heard these and all other models(except the Hyphn's).
The Silvers are their sweet spot especially when you factor in the cost imo.
As much as I prefer MA, the Bronze may not be the best choice imo.

If someone wanted to build around MA, this is a better deal imo.

I think we have actually talked a bit about this before as well. I will defer to your input on the Bronze lines offered. I actually remembered that I did get a few random Bronze center and bookshelf style speakers at one point to hear but I was already hooked on the Silver line and didn't even consider taking steps backward so I honestly couldn't tell anyone what I remember with confidence.

FYI. The woofer basket of this speaker is made out of plastic or some type of polymer instead of metal. Not sure what benefits that bring but looks like cost cutting to me.

Having heard both I would say unless you're unsatisfied with the 600s, it's likely just a lateral move.

Fun speaker to listen to. Ultimately prefered the SVS Ultra Bookshelf.

The speakers you linked, Monitor Audio Silver 200 7G Floorstanding Speaker Open Box (Pair) $1330 - that's a lot of speaker for the money. Way more expensive than the Bronze 100's, but maybe better value overall.

Yes it can be looked as in that perspective but there is a significant jump between the two imo.

Like GeoffreyK24, you can very easily built a great system with the Silvers.
As a matter of fact we were going to go with the Silvers until we got the chance to listen to them side by side with the Golds, definitely had to go Gold for us.

I would easily put them up against any of the popular speakers that pop up in here in that price range or higher.

I now have:

Klipsch 500M II, 600M and 600M II's.

I prefer the 600M's even over the new model.

Most reviews on these Bronze 100's praise the tweeter and the stuffed in 8" woofer for over-delivering. However, the mid is lacking and apparently it's a known issue that can be addressed with an upgraded crossover. Likely belongs in the conversation with other $399 BS speakers. Honestly that's a crowded space with Elat's, KEF's and any number of Klipscheses above.

If looking for solid mids at the $400/pr pricepoint, I'd take a close look at the Ascend 170SE, whose only disadvantage compared to these would be asesthetic, if that matters to you.
