Im still trying to figure out why I need to buy open ear headphones if the main reason I've worn them for 30 years is to block out external sounds. I wanna try this stuff but I need to find the loudest earbuds. You'd think they could eaisly make these louder than others due to bigger speakers. Loud enough to drown out ambient noise; an appease my ears. Cans are so hot to use when working out. I wear mine as earmuffs in the winter.
One review says it's only good for quiet environments. So no gym. Also says not good for running or biking cause it doesn't stay secure. So again no gyms.
Any with the (not so) flexible earloops require a bud stuck in your ear to stay put. Only moldable wiring combined with open ear would possibly have a chance of staying on when laying down on a bench or jumping rope. an I doubt that would work as well.
