I think the final cost would likely be highly variable depending on where you're putting it, and you'd probably want to make sure you aren't running afoul of any zoning laws or the like. Finding that out could be difficult in itself.

I want koi. I've seen some people keep them indoors in large ceramic containers, but it seems cruel. Fish need room to move and things to explore.
