There was some talk about using flexible spending account funds to pay for these since they can be considered health equipment. Not sure what happened since then though

AppleCare+ may not be worth it for other products but for Airpods they are SUPER generous with replacing pods and will always replace pods for not maintaining battery life even a year later it's in the warranty in black and white

Meaning Apple encourages you to buy and use the Airpods Pro 2 and after 2 years when there will be obvious and huge battery degradation from unlimited cycles of charging you can call AppleCare and get two new pods sent out to you for free. Wont replace the case but at least you get two new pods

I have the OG's (with the crackle/pop issue) and heard the 2's have the same issue for some people. I'm holding out for the 3's in hopes that they've finally really fixed that.

Amazon buds $25 (was on sale) and Truefree O1 ($16 after 20% off) works well for me on calls, music, running. Multipoint works well too between my iPhone16pro, S25 Ultra, Teams)
