$185 is a great price fort this CPU, dont care for the game but CPU price is slick! I build a PC with this CPU and its blazing fast, pair with a good GPU and youre in business!

I just bought (and installed) the Ryzen 5 7600X a week ago and paid $200 for it...and *that* was a good deal at the time. Well... Guess thats going back and I just ordered one of these. While its a marginal FPS difference coz GPU, can't really pass it up for $185.

I use the 9600X with the ASRock B850M Steel Legends Wifi board and it works fine. Its the MATX version, and I use 64GB DDR5-6000 ram from Silicon Power.

I'd buy this + ram mobo from newegg. There's plenty of good combo deals if you have time to look up once a day. Pairing with gigabyte b650m that comes with 32g ram right now should work totally well for this cpu, $325 for 9600x mobo 32gb ddr5 sounds good starter for budget builds. People could talk shit about mobo but I'd rather save that $100 for other parts.

I just received the 9600X today. It's going on a $180 ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS. So with ddr5 $465.
Nice that you're only cooling 65 watts which helps make for a quiet machine.
