Amazon has the new Orico IG740-Pro 2TB "Industrial" M.2 NVMe SSD with 7450/6500 MB/s Read/Write Speeds and TLC NAND for $112 ($140-20% clipped coupon). It seems to be pretty new--there are a batch of reviews out there, but mostly from the last month or so. The drive has a 5-year warranty and is rated for 1200 TBW.
Yeah, folks are going say "it's Orico.", "it doesn't have DRAM cache", "it's 100% China-made", etc. All of these are true! So if these are showstoppers for you, no need to even consider this. But if you are okay with these, the performance seems pretty impressive for the price.
I've ordered one and will let you all know how it goes.

In practice, it probably won't affect you or make a significant difference, but the claim is it's been designed for additional durability outside of normal conditions. The addition of ECC is also interesting, which makes me think it has a much larger reserve pool to heal itself. And, then, of course, there's the extended warranty.
However, like with "high endurance" SD, most of the reliability comes with the belief that it's more reliable.
I think I'd try enclosures with them. But I'm actually looking for a system drive and that's not the part I want to take chances with. For a game disk, sure.
