I bought this same monitor early October 2024, when pre-black friday sales were starting. I'll make two points.
This is an excellent monitor. My children use it with demanding gaming settings (RX 5700 XT card) and it is beautiful. I use it for office productivity and it works very well with clean text and lots of room for multiple windows.
Secondly, I have had great luck with Dell monitors over the past few decades. I have had many Dell monitors that have been in constant use for 4 to 8 years, probably longer, and have never had problems.
For those unaware, 34" ultrawide is same height as 27" but obviously wider. The 1800R curve ratio of this monitor is much better and easier to adjust to than other options that might be 1500R or even worse 1000R. The smaller the radius number (diameter) the more severe the curve. Not only does that take up more depth on the desk, but depending upon how far away you sit, more severe curvatures can be unpleasant for some. That can be affected good or bad by how well the monitor does with angled viewing.
This monitor performs very well when viewing from an angle and the flatter 1800R curve is very pleasant. 34" ultrawide does benefit from the curve, but 1000R is way too much, and I find 1500R to be less enjoyable than 1800R. A flatter curve lets you sit further back from the monitor and still have good viewing (more eye comfort, less strain).
