if I had room for a second, I would. It's a great bang for buck monitor and $20 less than the one I bought.

I have been using this monitor for over a year and it is very excellent. I'm using it for office only, no issues.

How does this compare to the KTC H34S18S that's $30 cheaper on Amazon (after coupon)?

I went from a Dell 32" 1440p gaming monitor to this and it was a great upgrade.
  • Pixel density is better than the 32"
  • Far better for FPS games as it feels more like a 27" monitor vertically
  • So many games support ultrawide and the experience is excellent (Forza, Fortnite, Cyberpunk, Far Cry, Outlaws, RDR2, and many more...)
  • I use it for general stuff too and it nice being able to have 2 windows side-by-side
  • Brightness is pretty good and this monitor supports HDR (not the best version of it through) so some supported HDR content/games do look pretty good.
The only downside of this monitor is the 144Hz but for the majority of games I play at 1440p, only Fortnite is hitting the limit. Overall highly recommend. GREAT bang for buck and it's hard to go back to regular 16:9 screens after using an ultrawide.

Been using this monitor as well for about a year. Great monitor. I do office work + light gaming (Diablo 4, and some steam games, whatever my 3060 can handle lol) and it has been great. I paired it with a 27" vertically aligned monitor for documents, but honestly with so much screen real estate , I have mainly using the second screen to keep my email box open and stuff like that.

I had my doubts about the whole ultrawide thing but damn I'm a convert lol

KTC has slightly better contrast (although 4000:1 vs 3000:1 isn't that noticeable) and has G-Sync.
Dell has 4xUSB 3.2 while KTC has 1xUSB 2.0

Beside that it's basically the same.

Good budget ultra wide. I have 2 of these stacked on VESA pole mount for work. Just ordered a 3rd for secondary office workspace.
Fine for casual gaming and very useful for office/productivity.

Looking at a pixel density calculator, it looks like this is intentionally a wider version of a typical 27" 1440p. They have the exact same pixel density (~109ppi) within 1%. It may actually be the same exact pixel size and the screen inches are approximate.

I like my 2 Dell 27" 1440 monitors, one vertical. I'm interesting in swapping one for a larger monitor but want the same ppi to avoid scaling shenanigans. I'm not totally sold on ultra wide for the work I do, but it's tempting.

FYI, 16x9 4k you'll have to go to 40" to match the ppi of a 27" 1440. Looks like a 32" 4k at 125% scaling would be super close though.

Works with MacBook Pro M1. The HDMI ports are up to 100Hz (with HDR) and you'll need a DisplayPort adapter to hit 144Hz.

This model is the brightest (400 cd/m2) 34" ultrawide from Dell. Even their newer USB-C models got only 300 cd/m2.

This or the 34in Deco Gear that runs at 180hz refresh? That's also $100 less.

Deco Gear quality or are they something else?

The last few comments on that deal didn't sound too happy - issues with customer service contact and another with a faulty monitor
