This is a va panel but I bought that hp x32 that was on here for $200 that everyone was praising because it was a cheap but good ips. I compared these side by side and honestly I like the dell better. The colors are nearly identical to me but something I didn't notice until I had them both was how disgusting the resolution of 2560x1440 on a 32 inch is. The hp looked extremely blurry in comparison to this. So far I'm loving this monitor and it has probably some of the best/least amounts of ghosting I've seen on a va panel as long as you choose the correct response setting in the menu. The monitor also gets pretty dang bright which I need in my bright office. Also I was nervous about poor viewing angles but they are pretty good as long as you sit in front of the monitor like a normal person.

I will say though a con to this monitor is g sync flickering. It is noticable while gaming with g sync enabled and it is distracting but if I needed g sync I could maybe live with it. Seems my monitor is on the latest firmware as well so I guess this is a con for the monitor itself. Honestly I don't care that much about g sync and I usually just turn it off anyways so for me this monitor is incredible and there is little to complain about unless you absolutely need g sync support without flickering or are extremely sensitive to ghosting to the point where you're ips ftw

edit:just wanted to point out since I compared it to a $200 monitor. I got this monitor for $240 (acceptable condition) from Amazon on prime day which basically looks brand new. So it's only $40 more and definitely worth it.

also wanted to point out Amazon currently has a few in acceptable condition right now for $285 which is a solid deal.

I have this I believe. For work it's ok. I played apex/halo on it and it was nice. I'm not an expert on monitors though

I have been using this monitor for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. USB hub is super convenient and after some tinkering the colors look really good, even when next to my two 27 inch IPS monitors.

The Dell monitor software has been updated recently and makes it much easier to find tune the monitor. The ability to create snap to zones is something I didn't know I needed until now. You can even set the monitor to change image settings based on the application being used. PIP, desk lighting, there's little this monitor does not have in the way of features.

Is no Gsync nor free sync the reason this "so cheap"? Do these GPU compatible features still matter to a gaming monitor nowadays?
Last but not least, when do you think Manufacturer will upgrade their product line to OLED panel?

How about sharing the details of said coupon? But the post before this is a valid point...

Edit: Oops, I'm a moron. Guess I shouldn't be on SD half asleep at 5am.

This has freesync premium pro and is also gsync compatible. Says it right on the stock photo.

They also already have an Alienware QD-OLED 34 inch ultra wide but it's $1k+

Thx for sharing, I skipped the picture and dis not find the freesync mentioned in spec. Is this monitor cheaper because VA panel? Dell also has similar spec monitor selling at around $650. Wondering if manufacturers are deprecating VA to prepare for massive OLED launch just like they did to TN

This is their budget gaming ultra wide. I doubt they will phase it out. Oled technology is still too expensive to be entry level price. QD-OLED is basically at the top and it will still be a while until it's more affordable

This is the monitor I went with mainly for the price. I have it on the bottom and dual 27's IPS on top and it honestly looks really good.
