Got Sonic 10gig fiber so I bought this and a 10gig switch to maximize my 10gig internet connection. This single unit provides better wifi signal than my previous three Deco XE75 units. Fan is a little loud so dont buy this for a bedroom.

No word if the US is banning TP-link routers?

Probably just the older ones?

I'll take the non-gaming version of this for $150 if you can provide a link! 😀

Just upgraded my internet to 2GB, and need a router that can push that. I've heard mixed results with TP Link though, some people say they are trash others seem to love it.

As an Old School Radio Shack lover, I just love that they use "Archer" I think that was Radio Shack's line of antennas or something like that.

I had two TP Link wifis in the past 5 years, they are bad quality, the second one was the three cylinder set from costco. both got overheating problems which cause internet unstable breakups from 5s to 2 minutes for 2-10 times a day. we didn't figure out until one of my roommates find it might overheating, and put a fan is better but still breaks. until finally I just bought a Netgear Nighthawk wifi7. My problem is gone!

The first one even died out after 1 year of storage. And for security too, this Chinese brand is questionable. I won't recommend this brand.
