Seems like a good deal except "amazon stock" concerns ... sigh.
Might pull the trigger on this one anyhow since it's less likely they're also faking the card reader. Definitely test them right away. Samsung has the same price, but OOS sadly.
You can just download Samsung Magician if you're worried. It automatically runs a check on the card and will tell you if it's authentic. Samsung used to have a dedicated "Memory Card Authentication Utility", but it was just rolled into the Magician app (cheaper maintaining one app instead of two, I guess). It's more than likely fine, but you can just return it if it's not.

good for anbernics? or insta 360?
Should be fine for both! I am currently using these in the Retroid Pocket 5, Anbernic RG405M and RG406H.

Good info and yes, I'm aware.

Just having to buy, test, return isn't worth the trouble when I usually can snag them from Samsung directly during sales for the same price. With my EPP I usually get em a slight bit cheaper even. If I wasn't running low on empty cards I'd just wait for the next round.

I would buy directly from Samsung too but not because of fear of counterfeits. They just simply have better cb deals.

Every time a flash card deal from Amazon comes on, someone talks about counterfeits. I'm curious if people are just regurgitating what they hear. I've probably bought tons of sdcards from Amazon in the past 2 decades and not once had a counterfeit.

EDIT: ordered one at Samsung directly. A tad bit cheaper at $28.49 with education discount. Also some cb as well.

Yeah these are few and far in-between and you're not going to counterfeit a 512 Samsung Pro, that makes no sense.

super simple.

plus, amazon doesn't demand you send back counterfeit cards. the last time I had one, about 10 years ago, they didn't ask for it back, that's just silly.

I was just able to price match online at bestbuy.com using the online chat option. I opted for local pick up at my nearest store 👌

I have it in my Dashcams (two cars) for almost 2 years. No problem.

If you use it in a dashcam, how do they check when you need warranty?

I've been using this blue model (128GB and 256GB) in 3 of my dashcams which all get daily use for between 2 years and 4 years and all the cards still work fine. I was using the 128GB green version for over 7 years in a DOD LS460W dashcam and that card also still works fine because I use it in my DLSR camera every day now. I've ordered Samsung microSD cards from Amazon about 15 times in the past 16 years and haven't received any counterfeit cards. I know at least 20 people who also ordered Samsung microSD cards from Amazon and only 1 of them got a counterfeit. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I'm just providing a little data to show it isn't a common occurrence or a rampant problem like a few people make it out to seem.

This should be good enough for the Nintendo switch 2?
I used this for my switch 1 before upgrading to the 1tb version a few month ago. Now I have a 256gb and 512gb SD lying around doing nothing

Where are you all seeing this available on Samsung's site for the same price? I see it's $76.99 at https://www.samsung.com/us/comput...y512sb-am/.

Nevermind: I was looking at a different listing for the "Pro Ultimate" version. The "Pro Plus" version is at https://www.samsung.com/us/comput...d512sb-am/ and shows as out of stock for me.
