RTings: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/b4-oled
"The 83-inch model shares a lot of similarities with the LG C4 OLED. It uses LG's Alpha 9 AI Processor Gen7, supports a 144Hz refresh rate, has three USB ports, and has a 2.2 channel speaker system, all of which are the same as the C4. Due to these shared features, we expect the 83-inch model to perform more in line with the C4. However, it doesn't have LG's Brightness Booster technology like the C4 does, so it isn't as bright overall."

Imo the screen is way to big for competitive gaming where input lag would really be an issue, but for a TV it is great.

For those on the fence about brightness. This user didn't like it
I was in the same boat with the 77 inch B2, but I got this 83B4 down to less than $1550, so I went ahead and got one. The 77B2 is moving to bedroom duty when the 83B4 arrives. Here's how I got it that cheap at the LG partner store:

Pretty sure the receipt is coded to the product aerial number. They scan the bar code.
Pretty sure the gift card is sent to you after the 90 day return window has closed.
No you get it pretty much right away. If you return it and don't have the gift card they will just deduct it.
No this is a tried and true trick at Costco. Many managers will even recommend doing this in many cases to keep their customers happy, they just know a lot of people won't go through the hassle.
You only get it if you buy the TV online, but the GC can be used online or in store. Wasn't sure what you meant.

Usage is mixed for Netflix, some sports, kids video and bit of gaming.
Thanks in advance.
