I'd say it's definitely a buy at this price especially with the added warranty through Costco. The 83" B is almost identical to the 83" C (same processor), it's just not as bright (except in game mode for some reason). I have this tv in my basement and it is plenty bright for me. Unless they just have a ton of stock, I can't imagine the price getting lower especially with the whole tariff uncertainty. If you're in the market for a large OLED, I'd buy this without hesitation.

Some references:
RTings: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/b4-oled
"The 83-inch model shares a lot of similarities with the LG C4 OLED. It uses LG's Alpha 9 AI Processor Gen7, supports a 144Hz refresh rate, has three USB ports, and has a 2.2 channel speaker system, all of which are the same as the C4. Due to these shared features, we expect the 83-inch model to perform more in line with the C4. However, it doesn't have LG's Brightness Booster technology like the C4 does, so it isn't as bright overall."

Video comparison: https://youtu.be/3ew4vXcmDgU?si=czjkuzphz7lFUKmg

Edit: it's part of the buy more save more promo, so you can get a pretty awesome deal by combining it with a Gladiator rack for another $100. https://www.costco.com/.product.1...ue&nf=true
After researching to the point of madness, I purchased this from Costco 3 weeks ago. When you buy the B4 83", you are essentially buying a C4 83". It has all the same internal components as the C4 in this size. You will be amazed if never owning an OLED TV. If you are on the fence, just do it.

How's the input lag? Would it be good for Gaming?

Imo the screen is way to big for competitive gaming where input lag would really be an issue, but for a TV it is great.

Is the 83B4 an upgrade over the 83C1?

https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...9540/21421
i have 83c1 also, its brighter and has new os but not worth upgrade. I only got for my theater room to go behind the projector screen for regular tv watching and ididnt feel like moving the c1 from my living room.

If I don't already have a 77inch B3, i'd jump on this.

I was in the same boat with the 77 inch B2, but I got this 83B4 down to less than $1550, so I went ahead and got one. The 77B2 is moving to bedroom duty when the 83B4 arrives. Here's how I got it that cheap at the LG partner store:

The B4 is $1869 on the LG partner store.
OLED83B4PUA is $1,800 on LG Partner site with 1-year warranty. I received 3% off pop-up coupon code but the site advertises 10% coupon code with sign-up for text messaging. There is also Perks for Work coupon code for 10% off. Coupon codes are not stackable.

The $100 shop card is online only, correct? I bought this TV a few weeks ago at $2199 in-store. Didn't want to risk damage during delivery. They adjusted price to $1999, but no $100 shop card.

You can buy one in the warehouse and return it using your old receipt. You don't need to return the one you have at home.

Pretty sure the receipt is coded to the product aerial number. They scan the bar code.

Pretty sure the gift card is sent to you after the 90 day return window has closed.

No you get it pretty much right away. If you return it and don't have the gift card they will just deduct it.

No this is a tried and true trick at Costco. Many managers will even recommend doing this in many cases to keep their customers happy, they just know a lot of people won't go through the hassle.

You only get it if you buy the TV online, but the GC can be used online or in store. Wasn't sure what you meant.

Any expert can help me decide if I should go for this one or 85" Samsung QN90D? I have a very bright living room (3 windows and a door facing backyard) and viewing distance is about 17 ft.
Usage is mixed for Netflix, some sports, kids video and bit of gaming.
Thanks in advance.
