Sucralose, erythritol, glycerine, acesulfame … all terrible for you. Worse than plain sugar

That product has terrible reviews. Most of them are about the taste. A lot of reviews recommended the name brand.

This isn't true at all. There is zero evidence that sucralose is bad for you. And don't post any research you find saying it "may" do this or that. There is zero evidence. Sugar is poison and pretty much all alternatives are better.

I get Simple 5 instead. 11g of sugar but I usually only use a tablespoon anyway. But if there's a better option I'm all eyes.

Horsepoop, excessive sugar is poison, same with all other sweeteners pretty much. Go drink 2 gallons of water in an hour and see what happens.

Moderation is so lost on todays society.

Probably just name brand placebo effect. I use it almost every day and like it. There are social psychology experiments where when given a glass of an ordinary wine and told it is an expensive wine, they tend to think it tastes like a great expensive wine and if told it is a bargain basement cheapo wine, they mostly don't like it. There are similar experiments covering a wide variety of branded food products. Our perceptions in general have been shown to be highly influenced by our expectations. Brains are funny things.

However, I decided to buy one of the Hershey's at the sale price just to see if there's much difference.

Please don't drink 2 gallons of water in an hour!

I hear horsepoop is loaded with fiber though.

Does this mix well with Ozempic? I was thinking of replacing the injectable with this stuff and seeing if it had the same effect.

Most of the "zero sugar" stuff you see, this included, has "sugar alcohols" in it. While better than plain sugar, especially if you're diabetic, it's not like a free pass to consume as much as you want. I don't know what the exact ratio is, but 50% is probably a good guesstimate. So, 2g of sugar alcohols would be equal to 1g of sugar.

"Zero sugar" is also sort of like "organic" in that it has a very specific meaning. You can have some small amount of sugar while still claiming to be "sugar free" so always be sure to check the label.

As usual, the bigger the advertisement of some feature on the front of the packaging, the more there's usually some kind of catch waiting if you look at the label on the back.

This tastes like garbage, literally. Like someone above said, unless you can't have sugar at all, get the Simple 5.

Agreed the regular one has 40 more calories per serving. Unless medically you need this, buy the original for the same cost and do a little more walking

Walmart reviews are useless since Walmart Plus came out. They're almost all people complaining about a poor delivery experience.
