Just make sure you know it's limit and how it's used. Generally people get the normal size version. Even the normal one, I don't like to connect it with my phone.

Exactly this. All, and I mean ALL GoPro cameras suffer from overheating. You will lose your video if it is long (15-30 minutes). It is an awful issue that GoPro has never really bothered to fix and it is the main reason why Insta360 and DJI Action Pro are such strong competitors and better alternatives in all ways possible. The only thing missing from the other cameras is the Volta mod. But they have Bluetooth mic capabilities, which the GoPro, at least all the way up to 11, lacks.

Don't buy it. It was my worst purchase ever. I bought it brand new when it first came out. I only used it probably 3 times at the most. It got hot. Battery was bad. It just stopped working. Gopro replaced it, same issue, it literally stopped working again. It doesn't turn on. My warranty expired. I originally spent over $350. I never bought another gopro again. I switched to insta360 instead

I bought this about a month ago when it was $120 for everyone. I use it to record and stream my sons baseball games, so think 1:30 to 1:45 hours of continuous recording, and I have not had it overheat on me. Yes, GoPros get hot, and if you have it in direct sunlight it can overheat, so some precautions need to be taken at times. I have had no difficulties connecting to my phone, but connecting to the cloud sometimes is a pain (Note it's also a pain for my Hero 10 black as well). Cons are the obvious, no removable battery and no screen but so far so good with recordings.
