I love the comments on the gaming laptops about battery life - you can have small, portable, and lower power with great battery life for all-day office and internet, or you can have gaming performance and heat sinks and fans with short battery life and need to be plugged in. You can't have both without an absolute chunk of a machine. You pick your poison. Want to game? Plug it in.

I think I remember seeing a video that showed that there was unused space in the battery compartment. You might be able to install a larger (longer) battery, like the 90ah battery from a Nitro 17.

I think of the battery in gaming laptops as a built-in uninterruptable power supply.
