Save your $8 and get a much better strap at about 10x the price. Your neck will thank you.

If your budget is $8 sure get this but you spent $300-$500 on a headset you'll probably want it to be comfortable and not applying much pressure

Straps:
Personally I went with Globular when it was $50 (Currently $70) however I needed to supply my own battery pack and it barely/sorta fits the headset
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPP67...in_title_1

I nearly purchased the bobovr S3 Pro when it was $72 (Currently $89)
https://www.amazon.com/BOBOVR-Pro...63?ie=UTF8

The M3 Pro may be $80 but it comes with 2 batteries and a charger
https://www.amazon.com/BOBOVR-Str...ast_sto_dp
There is an M3 Pro without the extra battery and charger for $50

Some people love the cheaper Kiwi strap. Some are $25-$80. This one I believe is the newest at $70 and has an additional 20% off coupon to clip

Lenses:

You got your 20/20 vision you can still grab a pair of 0/0 lenses to protect the actual lenses on the headset. The normal price on Meta is $50. If you go the cheaper route then Aliexpress can help even if you have different perscriptions in each eye.

Batteries:

You're going to need 4 rechargeable AA batteries and a charger for them (Each controller takes 1 AA battery and they drain quick). I went with Energizer but stick with known name brands.

Games:

Look for promotions as all Meta sales are targeted(BF was 50% off). There may be publisher links that will save you 10%-20% on games that are not on sale. Read reviews from Most Recent and do your research online/YouTube. Crossbuy is not "normal" as it means you get the Meta Headset version and Meta App for PC version. Virtual Desktop is a thing on both Steam and Meta store but I have yet to try it out. If your PC library is good (and a VR capable graphics card) and have good 5Ghz coverage you shouldn't need a cable. This should also improve battery life as it takes the strain off the headset.

Promotions:
There is a headset code you can use from other users before activating your headset to get $30 Meta credit; you should click that link before headset setup (Sometimes it is $60 depending on promotions). Using friend code for games gives the "friend" $1-$5 credit and the buyer gets a 10% discount for the game. See above for publisher links if you don't have "friends" as they have to follow you and you them. You put these codes in the promo box at checkout. If a "friend" or "headset" code goes wrong (not giving the promotional increase $30->$60) then you'll need to actually get in contact with your "friend" and get their full legal name, current username and email and likely they will need yours if they didn't get the extra credit.

Quest+:

You have 3 months to activate any Quest+ membership from your headset along with any included game(this game is yours regardless of Quest+ sub). Quest+ gives 2 games away each month. Quest+ games are unplayable without an active subscription. Some games are discounted based on ownership and if you get bundles with a Quest+ game discounted off you may get to keep the game after Quest+ expires (Walk-about golf and others).

Apps:

Some use Side Quest, Ocular Migraine, others Quest Games Optimizer which all can increase performance at the cost of battery life. Be careful of the video players as some have recently switched to subscription models

Creating Account:

Create one online prior to headset activation and can use an email, FB or IG account. Then setup 2 factor authentication and a purchase Pin to stop accidental purchases as some promo codes may disappear in checkout. You can create one during initial headset setup but then you'll have to factory reset the headset and click a $30 link to get the headset promotional credit and it is just a pain.

Credit:

Credit is capped at $599/year (taxes start at $600) and you can have 5 friends use each of your game codes so you can get $1-$5 (based on value of game when purchased $10-$50+ on non sale games). Some promotions allow for double credit but they are targeted. Some use alternate accounts to try and circumvent this issue.

Super weird take to say you need to spend 10x more to buy some named brand injection molded plastic. This is literally the same design as the popular $70 OEM elite strap (https://www.meta.com/quest/access...ite-strap/) which has not induced neck problems or any problems really. There are really only two styles of straps, this type, the elite style straps and halo style straps which admittedly some people do prefer. After playing with these things for years though they are both fine. The elite style straps just take a little bit of time to dial in the top strap vs the halos which forgo the top strap at the expense of putting more weight directly on your forehead. Halo straps can be had on the cheap too so just poke around some.
I don't know why, but folks love to talk up the expensive straps they have bought and how great they are but... look at em. They are all just the same injection molded bits of plastic.. a name brand sticker and a empty wallet do not the comfort make.
Anyway, woot is about as easy to return to as anyone. Do yourself a favor and try the cheap strap before deciding that you need something more expensive. The odds are very high that once you figure out how to distribute the weight with the available straps the elite will do you as well as the halo's and the elites are always easier to find cheap.

This is a fake, only first photo is of real strap by Meta, flip to the next photo and you'll see it's a fake, I bought it, it's fake. Yet it's ok for $8, just misleading by woot
