edit: DON'T FORGET TO USE THE CPOUON CODE. FIVEOFFDEWALT. I forgot last time and had to ask CS to add the code. You can only add the code near the very last step before paying, its not an obvious coupon code box. Just a tiny bit of text talking about promo
This is the better version compared to the DCL040 which is a weak spot beam that comes with every kit.
If you mean Type 1 or Type 2, I bought this from woot 2 months ago and got the "TYPE 12" which means much brighter leds than the "TYPE 1". "type 12" and "type 2" is the same thing.

But notice, his flood shown here is the older "type 1" which is less than HALF the brightness of the new DCL050 type 12, so this item above is very bright. So great I bought a 2nd one of these.
