Sample size of one, but when I ordered a box of these from a previous Amazon deal the chocolate was pale and waxy. I don't recall whether they were expired or nearly expired but I won't be taking that chance again.

ahhh... I think I lost a significant part of my life to B&Js heath bar crunch and coffee heath bar crunch back in the 90s.. Frown
Still feeling an urge to buy a box of these and a couple half gallons to go with.

I ordered some earlier, and was so disappointed.
They are now "Chocolatey". Which means they can't be legally called chocolate bars anymore. They were great before the change. Not any longer.

Chocolate bloom is a normal process for aging chocolate but it doesn't make it expired or inedible. It's entirely a cosmetic issue. Chocolate doesn't expire.
