Just bought the HP OmniBook 7 Flip 16" at Staples.com for $350 less at Staples for $649.99 (another 35%off). This one has only 512GB SSD storage tho'.😉

That has the Ultra 5 vs this having the Ultra 7. Quite the difference in processing power.

Thanks for the info. For what you're getting - a Copilot+PC[A.I.-Artificial Intelligence]convertible laptop with Thunderbolt ports & pen support for $650 - it's still quite the value.🙂

More importantly, this one has a 3k resolution 120hz screen! That's way better than the one at Staples and easily accounts for half the price delta

Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 have negligible CPU performance differences.
The bigger difference is the GPU. 130 vs 140, which has a 13% performance difference.
I personally prefer the Ultra 5 because it works for me but unfortunately, it seems the Ultra 5 is a badly binned Ultra 7 so in benchmarks it runs hotter and doesn't save battery at all.

I just picked this other one up also from microcenter. I was debating between this HP deal and paying slightly extra for the AMD with more RAM. After looking at both of them, I went with the AMD Asus route. However, I didn't need the touch screen/fold back feature of this one.

That's an ips display. You should update your comment to reflect that the storage isn't the only difference.
