Twelve of the 14 active ingredients were present in at least 90% of the labeled amount, meeting our standard of acceptable minimum potency. Given these data, it seems that many labeled expiration dates do not reflect true longevity.
Now would I take drugs years old? Not preferably, but for something like this where the worst that would happen is you get some allergy symptoms, sure.

For something available that cheap, I'd replace it. There are some drugs that degrade into toxic substances with heat and time.
For most medication 2years is my cut off, but you could go more/less, depending on scenario

The government (e.g. military, FDA) has an ongoing program called SLEP [wikipedia.org]which evaluates effectiveness of drugs past expiration. by in large most drugs are still "good" WELL past their official expiration.
