Oh great, a folding bolt cutter that's easy to hide in a backpack.. Just what the meth heads need. 🤦 ♂️

In for two.
To be clear I'm not a meth head, I go after catalytic converters purely for sport.

There's a million easier ways to bypass physical security measures, but please, keep spouting off about your imaginary villains.
Idk, bolt cutters are pretty easy for locks. I don't think there's really an easier way.

Using a key would be easier, FWIW

Bought a house with padlocks on the fence gate with no key. Removed the entire hardware and went to Lowe's to ask for help and advice on getting the lock off.

The employee grabbed a Bolt cutter, and it went through like a hot knife through butter 🔪 🧈

Why not both! Plenty of meth-heads that go after catalytic converters here in California!

It's almost cheaper to just buy the bike on Facebook from th guy who meets you in a random parking lot, riding the bike in, and selling it for penny on the dollar: rinse and repeat.

I got a trek beach cruiser in perfect condition for $60. Just about $800 off. Pink was a good color for a 30 yo string out male with no drivers license.

Because meth heads don't sell everything they have before they try to steal yours. I am sure there some really well equipped meth heads running around masterminding massive theft rings.

I'm planning to make some modifications to my chain link fence, and just started researching/shopping bolt and low gauge wire cutters.

I don't particularly need the folding feature, but I really like the long handle leverage. This fence is heavy, around AWG 2.

Anyone who actually knows this product, should I jump? It's not quite what I was thinking about, and I can't really tell if I would be able to easily maneuver into the angle I need to cut with this.

The only thing I used cutters for was the bottom tension wire. For the mesh just fold open the end loops and unweave it. If you cut it you won't be able to use that strand to weave in again.
