buy true to size - reviews on website say it fits slightly larger to allow for layering

I have this in a different color and had to go up a size to fit correctly.

I got a medium 8.5 years back for $231. As long as you're not very overweight or a bodybuilder, buy your usual size. I was comfortable with little to no layering down to -30 C. Things may have changed over the years, though. This is a great price if the quality is the same or better.

Edit: looks like they made the hood non-removable and went from 550 to 600 fill power down. Both improvements.

Edit 2: For reference, I'm 5' 11". I have never been considered "fit." The one month I used it, I weighed about 175 pounds.

Had to snag one. I'm 5'8 200lbs and ordered a large. Hopefully that's the right choice, but it looks like they're good about returns/exchanges so not too worried

I love my NF Steeptech Snorkle. Want something not so utility looking and cheaper for daily abuse. After some back and forth, I went with the Superior Stadium for the added length. EB's coat felt and seemed to be of high quality but is heavy. I know we can't go back in time, so just for reference, my EB order is mid-Jan for $170

I have the Superior Parka and really like it for below 0F temps. Don't have the McMurdo one, but wanted to warn that the fill power is about the loft of the down and how lightweight it is, but it does not refer to how much down is in the jacket or how warm it is.

Eddie Bauer has 50% off the Superior Parka so it ends up being cheaper. A lot of reviews recommend the "Stadium" version as it's a little longer

Warmest parka I own. Got it for $280 last year which I thought was a great deal (guess not). Size one down. I usually wear XL and got L. It fits snug but perfectly.
