Keep in mind they probably filled those warehouses before issuing such a statement. A lot of CCP operations stockpiled right before tariffs began being collected.

Also I don't see this model touting Hall Effect. I know 2C has it. And the $25 Woot Xbox skinned version had it.

If this doesn't have HE's... immediate pass. But I can't say for sure.

Plain Ultimate ones are not hall effect, nor are some of the C ones (I think all the wired C's are hall effect, and the bluetooth C's made for Switch are not, but I'm not 100% on that). If you want hall effect sticks and triggers just make sure you're buying a 2C. Best Buy does have the 2C wired controller on sale for $19.99 too, but for some reason 8bitdo only made the PC/Android 2C in weird pastel color schemes (green, mint, peach, purple).

Well, for one, that underscores this is a bad deal. At a bare minimum, go with the 2C. Pastel and Hall even if you hate pastel... again will last 10x longer.

But still, $5 more for Xbox gets you Xbox Cert (with the disgusting DRM/monopoly) and non-pastel. And HE's.

Yeah, I could see this a deal at $15 as a disposable controller for travel. But you'll want a case for the sticks.

Ugh. Don't NEED another controller. But, as others have stated, tariff fears have me thinking it might be in my best interest to stockpile cheap Chinese goods now versus spending 20%+ in the future when I do need them.

FWIW, solid controller for casual play. Help up well to my 9 year old daughter. Hardcore gamers are better off spending a bit more.
