Is this the one that requires you to take up two USB slots for the pass-thru 'feature'?

This one doesn't have a pass through.

Terrible experience with my last K70 - Corsair's RMA (on a specific RECALL) is absolutely the worst. OK 2nd worst, Sandisk was way worse.
But anyway, my K70 had a double-typing issue that couldn't be resolved and was so common that they had to recall a huge portion of the K70s.
I do not know if K70s PROs were involved.

I think it's resolved on mine. Only took like 3 firmware updates.

I guess all modern keyboards are going to have a USB C connection instead of a hard wired cable. I tend to move my keyboard around on the desk a lot, so I'm worried that the USB C connector on the keyboard is going to get damaged. I've never understood the need for a wireless keyboard, but I might have to start using one if my old wired keyboards start to fail.

I recently got Logitech's G515 TKL and love it. It cost $80 on sale. I love it. It's low profile. Full size (non TKL) keyboards take up a ton of room that you can be using for your mousepad. You can also get a Hall Effect keyboard for not much more than this for a bunch of extra features.

I've tried many keyboards but still prefer the cherry mx brown switches "feel" on corsair, I'd 2 older non rgb k70 and has been my workhorses keyboard for long time, neither has failed there are couple keys getting lose and stuff that'd to order replacement keys from corsair but that's it. Order this newer model finger crossed.

It's feels better built the the two KBs I have been using for 1-2 decades (Everglide DTK, and Razer black widow). It's also almost silent, doesn't feel like a mechanical, my work PC is using a Steelseries apex5, which actually feels more mechanical (even though it isn't). No complaints, as my baby sleeps in my home office, so the silence is appreciated. My everglide dtk has been relegated to surveillance system duties, and black widow is broken.

I have issue with the speaker volume controls. You have to move it as an exact speed and pressure to get it to work. move it any other way and you will end up at 100% or 0% sound volume.
