Nice deal on the M18 16 in. Chainsaw. Buddy got one a few weeks ago and it now comes with the Forge 12ah battery.

I've had this saw for a while, and the best tip I could give you is to replace the bar and chain with an equivalent Oregon. The bar it comes with, though they say is Oregon, is more flimsy than normal. I'd order the new bar and chain to have available. Also make sure to get the correct sharpening kit as it's smaller than normal!

Besides that - I think it's a kick ass saw, and works so well for most home owners, especially if you're already in the Milwaukee ecosystem.

I have one of these and it leaks oil like crazy. Have they fixed that problem yet?

What sharpening kit do you recommend?
