Wow, under $300 for a 65" smart TV. Why is everything else getting more expensive but TV's are getting cheaper?

So I ordered this TV, it was delivered the next day. The delivery was done in a Budget rental van and they put it leaning on its short side on the side of my door. The box was beat up so I opened it and the TV seemed ok. I ended up mounting it the next day. The picture is pretty nice for the price however my tv has light bleed in the middle, may be from manufacturing or damage I'm not sure. I was pretty annoy so I complained to walmart and after a lot of back and forth they let me keep it and refunded the full amount. All that to say delivery was bad and QC is questionable, but I am pleasantly surprised with Walmarts customer service. So be aware

Because smart TVs have evolved into personalized billboards right in your living room. Worth it for a manufacturer to lose a few bucks selling a TV since they'll get a cut of all the ads you see on your TV, it's why it's becoming increasingly difficult to avoid ads while stream things.
