Had this watch for 1.5 yrs and it's great. Flashlight is so handy, probably use it everyday for short periods. Battery averages about 3 weeks for me before needing recharge.

Best watch I've ever had. Battery lasts several week, the flashlight is incredibly useful. Tons of features, and got banged around a ton with outdoor activities and keeps going.

I love this watch. I still use it as my main fitness tracker and daily device, and I'm really only interested in upgrading when they have the 3X Solar ready.

The Instinct 3 series isn't really much of an upgrade, but the X series usually takes some more impressive leaps. I'm hoping it comes out this year.

I think they are not planning on doing that. In the Instinct 2 series, they named the versions based on the size. The 2x is basically a bigger watch (50mm) compared to the instinct 2 (45mm) which is bigger than the instinct 2S(40mm). With the bigger size, they added some additional features to the 2x model.
However, in the instinct 3 they dont have that naming scheme. It is available in 45mm and 50mm. Both having the same features.

I got the 2x Solar Tactical version price matched at Target and stacked a 15% discount on top, ended up paying just $280. Such a sweet deal for the Tactical version!

Take a look at your Target Circle Bonus, you should see an offer like "Save 15% on one in-store or online purchase" in your account. In my case, it showed an expiration date of tomorrow, 5/3.

Yea I was like but it reads "Sold by Amazon" kept trying to convince the Target rep, but still failed. Said their system couldn't price match it even though he tried.
