I have the green one. Price tracking on Amazon will show you it's this price fairly often. It's small in form, has a good battery life so far, and I prefer to use this for my daily shave even though it's weaker than my previous Arc3. Because it's weaker, it's less likely to irritate my skin. However, it pulls if I let my hair grow for a week. Keep in mind this is NOT lithium ion. So I'm not sure how this will last in the long run.

There is a similar design model that has lithium ion, but it's quite a bit more pricey. It's called the MultiShape and it has the flexibility of using it for other functions by detachable heads. I would caution you not to buy that one as a primary shaver. It's much weaker than than the one in this post, and the weakness carries through all its various uses. Also because it has more moving parts and detachable, I suspect it'll have more areas of failure.

Not at all intended for that purpose. You would need a trimmer, like a Manscaped or a Philips Norelco OneBlade.

I got the blue one recently, and quite like the build quality. Unfortunately it's been my typical experience with electric razors where a lot of hairs are skipped entirely and my neck is left irritated even with only a few passes.

To be honest, I recommend just getting a female refillable razor. Gets close, smooth and never had an accident.
Agreed. They also have some designed for intimate female shaving.

I've been using the Norelco OneBlade, and it's a toss-up whether I'll nick myself or not. Been looking for an alternative that actually feels safe to use freely.
I'm on the hunt as well. I have the norelco bodygroom series I got off of here.

It's too weak for my thick hairs.

I'm a huge fan of the BaBylissPRO FX3 Professional High Speed Foil Shaver. Best one I've used so far.

Edit, it's notgood on long hair, you'd have to bring them down a bit first. Then this will give you a smooth shave. Move it slowly when you first get it, it cuts smooth.

I have been so frustrated with electric razors lately and have seen people recommend the Babyliss. Is it truly that much better than most others?

Exactly the same for me. I've been using a couple of Braun shavers for the last 2 or 3 years, and I have to constantly go over and over my face. Same for the terrible Norelco/Philips models that used to be really good for me. I found a new FX3 on ebay a little while ago for $60 for a new one, so I have it coming this week. Thanks for your report! Looking forward to trying this out.

You are going to love it. Just move the shaver slowly at first and no need to press down in to the skin, later when your skin is used to it you can push a little.

Have to ask, is this safe on balls?
It still depends on the size of the balls.

TBH I just carefully rinse the blades and screen with water, then a spray of alcohol. Let it air dry and good to go.

I like this Panasonic Arc Go shaver.
made it as my traveling shaver, basically because it's my only one charged with USB-C.
i had hopes it will be my daily shaver,
but it lacks a trimmer and the foil & head feels fragile.
👆 bare in mind, every review is subjected to the reviewer types of hair, thickness, density & age (skin)
and doesn't necessary reflect on the performance you'll experience.

pros:
◾ closer shave than its rival, one blade
◾ powerful than its rival, one blade
◾ finally a good cleaning brush on a lower end model.
(Philips brushes are junk even on the premium models).
◾ long life span of the blades. According to the Arc3 heads, it should last 12-24 months.
◾ Charged with USB-C
◾ Can stand on it's thin base, which is cool. I don't know of any razor that can.

cons:
◾ performs miserably on my neck, thin hair with low density, as most do. need lots of passes ~20,
with my old Philips 9190 (Philips top model 15y ago with 3 rotating blades) it takes 10 and I never changed the blades.
👆 this is subjected to your types of hair, thickness, density & age (skin).
◾ foil & head feels cheaply made.
◾ expensive replacement heads. cost triple than its rival, one blade ! ARC3 head cost ~30-40$ and lasts 12-24 months.
◾ only for face shaving, I see on other reviews that some like it for legs.
Although it can't be used for other tight & small areas such as eyebrows, ears, etc. like the rival one-blade can.
◾ No brand name, just a model number. Panasonic, the fact that the name OneBlade is occupied doesn't mean you can't come up with a cool name for this model. how about Arc Go. There you go, branding for free.

the head will brake fast on daily / weekly use cleaning. replacement heads are very expensive.
it's. a bit more powerful & quiet than the Philips one-blade.
You get a closer shave than the one-blade, but not as close as the lowest 3 heads model of major brands.
Overall, the one blade is still superior than this shaver and a better choice.

it's good for traveling, not suitable for daily / weekly use.
I still prefer the one-blade for daily use.
if it only had a trimmer and better build quality on the foil & head (which feels very cheaply made, once you take it apart for cleaning),
but then, no-one will ever buy the Panasonic Arc expensive shavers.
Although, i did adopt the cleaning brush for cleaning my other shavers (Philips, which supplies very poor brushes)

finally what will dictate this product life is the replacement heads price and the life span of each one.
According to the Arc3 heads it should last a year - 2 year on daily use 300-700 uses. I doubt that.
BTW, the one-blade lasts ~100 uses, if it doesn't falls apart before.

Hello just want to confirm have you tried taking the unit apart to see if it is indeed not lithium? Amazon makes it seem like it is lithium ( based on description field) but it doesn't indicate if the package says its has the lithium batteries. Also for 35 this price is better than the replacement costs of the foil and blades alone. I believe these parts should be compatible with the ARC3. So maybe you can refurb your original ARC3 with these parts. And if so I wonder if the quality of these parts are as good as the original ARC3 parts. Thanks for any input

I actually messaged Panasonic and they told me Ni-MH but I didn't believe it, because I asked alot of technical questions for some products and some of the answers seemed questionable.
