I bought this on a similar SD in 2020. It was $9.50 then, so this is a pretty good deal. It's extremely thick and warm for a sweatshirt. Definitely has heft to it. However, I rarely wore it because it is so difficult to get over your head, so I ended up giving it to the homeless.

Heavy weight is a joke. I bought a hanes heavy weight pull over hoodie and it isn't even half as thick as my carthart mid weight! Shrinks terribley and wears terribly.

Bought one recently and for the price, it's worth it. Only complaint is that the fabric is a bit rough. I usually get these from Costco and they are slightly more, but the fabric is finer and the heft lower. So that's the trade-off, I guess.

This not super thick but thick enough, thicker than "comfort ecosmart" variety but with the same price. These are quite warm. But my only complaint is that these are rough, very crispy and sometimes it may feel uncomfortable if you don't have the right size. Fit is otherwise great. I only wish these were little softer. Black or darker dye usually make fabrics rougher and more crispy, but I am not sure if other colors in these are relatively softer.
