True but on Amazon you get 20% cash back if you use the prime card. That is 80ish back.

FYI. If you're a Costco member these are slightly cheaper and you get the lifetime return policy.

I picked them up after using the 5400s for a few years before lighting storm fried them. Costco took them back and I upgraded to these.

Reason I picked this is all ports are 2.5Gbps compared to say the 75x pros which only have 1 2.5gbps port.

So far no issues.

Me too.
I have an Orbi RBK50. My only complaint about Orbi is that there's a distinction between routers and satellites. So, I'd need to buy satellites if I want to expand or address dead spots, which cost an arm or a leg. I did flash a few routers into satellites, but that would void the warranty.
I have my eyes on the Asus BQ16/Pro, which is ~$450 per unit (slightly less than an Orbi equivalent). I like Asus' setup because there's no distinction between routers and satellites. However, many reviews complain about their firmware issues. I don't want to drop $2000+ and deal with technical problems.

Very interesting Dong, hated the Eero, but its gotten good reviews on other sites. Unfortunately he has not done a BE63 review since he says it should perform very similar to the BE85 which he liked.

Looking at Rtings which rated them both, I would say they are pretty similar, but I rather save the money and go with the TP-Link.

FYI. If you're a Costco member these are slightly cheaper and you get the lifetime return policy.

If you're dropping that much on networking gear, definitely look into Ubiquiti's offerings. Overall it will be less than the Asus but with much more robust, commercial grade equipment.Their subreddit has a lot of useful info for those looking to make the switch.

Meh, Ubiquiti on a product to product basis gets beat out constantly in price and performance, they are for people with too much time on their hands who like to take their work home with them. If you were to get the BE10000 for $335, you would need to spend almost $700 to get something even close to equivalent in performance from Ubiquiti....

Another datapoint, I switched out my old Wi-Fi 6 Orbi with this three-pack last month, and it has been fantastic. Consistent 950+ mbps up and down speeds throughout the house when connecting my machine to a satellite mesh via ethernet. The cashback for the one pack is actually 25% now, so I ordered one more to make it a 4 node mesh. It comes to $150 a node, great value if you want to maximize gigabit internet.
