True but on Amazon you get 20% cash back if you use the prime card. That is 80ish back.
Costco has them for 399.99 if you have a membership.
FYI. If you're a Costco member these are slightly cheaper and you get the lifetime return policy.

https://www.costco.com/TP-Link%20...ue&nf=true

I picked them up after using the 5400s for a few years before lighting storm fried them. Costco took them back and I upgraded to these.

Reason I picked this is all ports are 2.5Gbps compared to say the 75x pros which only have 1 2.5gbps port.

So far no issues.

Why is it "better than Costco be11000"? Aren't they virtually the same?
If you look at the spec, the Amazon one is a bit worse in terms of performance. But Costco one constantly dropped connections for me.

Thanks OP. After reading the post and doing my own research, I settled for Costco ones. Slightly better than these. But comes with piece of mind on returns or problems with the device.

Did anyone get the extra 15% with Amazon Prime Visa? I'm not seeing a credit on my card and no mention of it on the Amazon order.
I got the two pack and the extra 15% rewards have already posted to my account.

I am curious why the <$100 TP-Link device posts's comments are filled with all those Chinese stealing data warning comments, and when it comes to $400+ level devices posts the comments are are much cleaner and healthier.

Do you know if this is compatible with older Deco model Deco X55 pro ? I am using that model specially for the dual 2.5 ports though it's older Wi-Fi tech. I am using it with MoCA. Can use that model mixed with mine ?

I also came here for the anti-Chinese hate via TP-Link telling everyone it's going to get banned in the USA, but to my despair.. SD seems void of these on these products. Interesting, where did they all go? EEK!

Meh, Ubiquiti on a product to product basis gets beat out constantly in price and performance, they are for people with too much time on their hands who like to take their work home with them. If you were to get the BE10000 for $335, you would need to spend almost $700 to get something even close to equivalent in performance from Ubiquiti....
This is not true.. not even close. We are talking about $400+ for these just for mesh wifi. For security, you definitely need your own actual gateway/router for these to connect to.

Tl;DR: stay away.
So, i bought these last year and returned.
1 they're cheaper at Costco
2 Only setup via app, no web page setup.
3 Can't setup without internet. I know it's a unique requirement but I had a special case where I wanted to setup only on my local network without internet. But couldn't do.
4 WiFi connectivity issue.

Damn, I missed to read on that. But I ordered another one via Instacart 30% coupon. Will return it against my B&M purchase. I observed that there is a service fee of $20 though on the order and it cost $20 more on instacart than B&M. But still will be able to save $60 more with the paypal cashback.
Thank you!

I ordered it through Costco instacart delivery then payed using PayPal for 30 percent cash back. https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/18248113
Any way to get rid of the service fee? Mine is a really high $33 and with the $13 up charge and a then giving a tip that's an absurd cost of over $50 to deliver one item.

1 item $412.99
$0 standard delivery fee
Service fee: $33.04

Edit: Service fee goes away buy buying through Costco

Makes sense to not use TP-Link for routing functions. Get a trustworthy router and put the TP-Link into AP mode for the wifi features.

No you really dont, thats only for people who like to tinker and have to much time on their hands, for regular people the routing and security provided by the base unit is just fine.

I have thes for a month now and they suck. Constant signal loss while moving around the home, buffering on Netflix on TV's and worst of all, 5ghz dropping entirely at random. Wish I hadn't sold me eero pro 6es for this.
It's good advice to not sell a working mesh system until you have thoroughly tested the new one and are satisfied.

my service fee is $8. the up charge is $13 ($412.99 vs $399.99 in-store/online). so with a $20 tip, it's going to be:
$8 + $13 + $20 = $41 plus tax. so my PP cashback of $100 nets down to $59. btw, the PP promotion ends 5/14.
now i'm reading from some the slightly lower-spec'd version from AMZN runs better than the costco version.
i can't decide!
