My work buys this brand, and it is the most bland tasting coffee I have ever tasted.

Well, it's somewhat naively optimistic to expect great coffee from Keurigs, in my opinion. You sacrifice quality for convenience and speed.

However, you can improve things a bit by always choosing the Bold setting on your pod brewer and selecting the lowest serving/ounce size. I find that by doing these two things, even the crappiest pods become acceptable. Adding some Coffee-mate Sugar-Free French Vanilla creamer [amazon.com] always helps as well.

That said, I'm finding that pour-over brewing [amazon.com] is far superior and almost comparable to K-Cups in speed—you just need an electric thermal kettle to maintain hot water throughout the day. Since switching to pour-over, I hardly ever use my Keurig anymore.

This reads like a bad advertisement. Of course not using a Keurig or putting creamer in it will "fix" the problem, but that doesn't change the fact that these cups taste much worse than others I've tried.

I gave you some tips to make K-Cups taste better though...

1 - Choose the Bold setting if your Keurig has it.

2 - Always select the lowest ounce/serving setting for your Keurig.

These two tips should enhance the taste and boldness of even the cheapest K-Cup. I only mentioned the creamer because it's quick and easy to use plus it's my favorite. As I said, Keurigs force you to sacrifice overall quality and taste for convenience and speed—so don't expect great coffee no matter what you do.

Pour-over brewing is the best compromise between quality and speed, in my opinion. If you have access to an electric kettle that keeps water piping hot throughout the day, pour-over brewing is quick to make and vastly superior to K-Cups.
