You make it sound like the sidekick is relatively unknown. That's Mark Dacascos who use to host the American Iron Chef TV show, and was the main villain in John Wick 3.

Own it in HDX, willing to drop $5 for the 4k upgrade.

Wish there was a better way to know what movies would be upgraded so I could wait until they are and only buy once.

Was one of my favorite movies at the time it came out. Like the cinematography.

This movie is one of my favorites for its sheer insanity. It is a period French piece, bodice ripper, fish out of water, monster, and martial arts movie that is just as goofy and fun as that sounds.

This movie is a fun ride. It's French so, in the words of Jeremy Clarkson, "It doesn't feel like it was grown in the same soil." The heroes regularly visit brothels, where they are provided mystical advice which moves the plot along. The Native American sidekick knows Asian martial arts - and is played by an American of Filipino descent. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is one of my all-timers! It's such a visually striking and genre-blending film with a superb cast. I remember seeing it in theaters while I was in college and thinking, "Wtf did I just watch?" I went back three more times 🙃 . It combines historical drama, martial arts, and horror into a wildly imaginative 18th-century monster tale. Le Pacte des Loups was the French name of the film, and best watched like all things in French with your language of choice subs.

Amazing movie, but Fandudu sucks when it comes to upgrades. iTunes upgrades purchased movies to 4K for free. It costs $5 to upgrade this from HD to 4K. Going to wait for it to be on sale on iTunes and spend $5 on there instead.
