I'll save you time to click the link. It only has 32 bulbs for 100' and each bulb is 37" apart. It is not bright enough if you hang it 10' above the ground. This is more like a Christmas decoration instead of a real backyard lighting.

I had the Costco version for $30 since 2018 and never had any issue. It is bright enough to see my backyard at night and walk underneath it.

Nothing but Vine "reviews" for this, but KYY has 4.4* from 2.9k reviews on their solar string lights. In for one to light my storage container.

Do you happen to have a link / the item # from the OG box? Or know the brand (just Kirkland?).

Thanks.

Just a heads up, the review pictures look like a nicer product than the amazon listing shows. Odds are the reviews were copied from a different product and you'll be getting the cheaper version shown in amazon pics.

Multiple reviewer's product photos show Addlon branded products.
So you're right that there something fishy going on with the reviews

light/cord looks totally different. much heavier duty in the reviews. product photos show no plastic loop, just a small clip like Christmas gutter lights

ETL certification can be a little tricky to find since the OEM is not always disclosed/multiple trade names etc ...but I didn't see any KYY listed https://ramuk.intertekconnect.com...uzzy=FALSE

the price is cheap, but there is a lot of questionable marketing going on here. YMMV

I'll take the leap. I currently have lights similar to the ones in the reviews which are great, however in the location I have chosen the squirrels like to drop the hanging bulbs like acorns. Half of the lights are gone. For this price and the thought that these are directly in line with the wire making them less appealing for the squirrels (I hope), I will give them a go. Free returns so no risk.

Thanks!

Buyer beware these are not the regular screw in socket (E26/27) like other string lights

3 feet between lamps? Personally, I'd much prefer a 50' version with a lamp every 18".

Thanks for the heads-up. They certainly don't look 3 feet apart in the AI-generated backyard image. Check out the bizarrely placed chimney on the house.
