And teachers are still putting "2" 3-Ring Binder" on the school supply list in 2025. I learned the first semester of college to NOT buy all of the things the professor put on the syllabus, especially not at the campus bookstore, but in my wife's house, we follow the RULES ... my kid stuffs all their papers in their laptop, leaving the 2" 3-Ring Binder with the same 100 sheets of blank paper for the entire year.
Since I never used my locker, and we had real books, the rings in a 2" binder didn't stand a chance of lasting until Christmas. Multiple 1/2" binders hold up a lot better in a backpack that's crammed to the brim. In college, I just carried a clipboard and grabbed used printer paper.
I bought this one and two other colors. Quality is decent, especially for the price. Not quite the same as the 90's OG but a cheetah holding a boombox gets a proper laugh at corporate meetings.

I bought one like this and use it for our travel and something to hold all of our paper document backup copies but sadly, this is considered carry-on now so I've stopped using that
Fun find! Thanks for posting. Looks like the 3rd party sellers have boosted these to $20 to $30, unless your local store has it at the clearance price.
