What do you normally wear for fashion sneakers with wide toe box. Any recommendations
For running shoes with a wide toe box? Altra. Not sure what you'd consider fashion sneakers but they have a variety of options.
That said, the Zero drop isn't for everyone when running but they are my go to.

I just got these and have walked around in them a bit. I like my ride 17s more stability wise and they don't feel quite as tight on the toe box.

Great deal ! My broke ass can't afford Hokas, so Asics it is lol
I buy too many running shoes and have owned almost 25 pairs of Brooks, ASICS, Hoka ,Saucony, and Nike in the last 3-4 years in my journey to find the perfect sets of shoes for weekly training for 5k-half marathons.

Since Nimbus 25, ASICS have outpaced Hoka in every way (while acknowledging there is some subjectivity here). There's not a model of Hoka I personally would suggest over the equivalent ASICS.

What's posted here is better than then Clifton. Nimbus is better than the Bondi.

Interestingly enough, I forgot my running shoes for a 5k this weekend and borrowed a pair of these. I'd put them solidly in the daily wear or crosstrainer category. They live up to the "gel" cushioning and have a stable foot feel. The toebox, while not wide, was better than like Brooks or many other pairs and certainly adequate.

All of that said, I wouldn't get them as "running" shoes. Every step I took felt like all of my energy was being sucked out into the pavement. They just really have no bounce for a good running cadence.

But again, if you are just looking for a cushioned supportive daily wear jogger, sure, these will suit you just fine, especially at this price.

The local Fleet Feet out near me has a run club and they bring in reps from a number of different shoe brands with their latest styles for demo runs. It's been a great way to try on different shoes without having to spend the money. Really helped me figure out what drop ratio, build, and support that works best for my runs.
May be something to look into near you.

I received my pair today from Dicks. I am surprised that this shoe does not have any black rubber layer at the bottom of the sole touching the ground. It is completely all white plastic/rubber. I am a bit concerned about its durability. Can anyone confirm that these white stuff can actually last the life of the shoe, which for me is typically 10 month to a year. Regular walking around. I don't run much.

I have been buying cumulus for a few years due to its comfort and durability. For a past a few pairs, there is always a black layer. So this is quite new. Since I actually care about durability as in daily use, walking around etc., can someone offer some advice here? Thanks.

How does the cumulus compare to the nimbus? I have the 26 nimbus and so far I like the foam.

Totally agree about toe box. It feels like several years ago when foam got popular they started making narrower shoes. I'm betting it was to save on material cost. Just conspiracy theory, gone to Brooks for wides now.

Does anyone knows if I returned the shoe and rebuy using the $15off code would work at Dicks store? Code does says excluding returns. Thanks

heads up for people who haven't received them yet.
I received the shoes, but it seems they were returned at some point, so they look slightly used...
