For a small chainsaw I'm actually considering a small gas one so I can zip through cleanup of downed branches.

The small one-handed design really saves me the pain of having to carry a full-sized chainsaw up a ladder to cut off some branches.
Unless you're gonna be cutting tons of branches from multiple trees in one sitting, this brushed model does the job just fine.

These don't have an oiler. You'll want/ need to oil the chain to keep it from just turning to trash immediately. Chainsaws consume oil. If you feed it oil it'll last, if not it'll dull.

There's an 18v brushless powerhead that is fine for small jobs if you aren't already in the 40v ecosystem as well.
*edit* unless you are using it for tiny jobs.
dumb question, whats the proper to oil this thing? just lube the chain itself? what kind of oil do i use? thnaks.

I've never been able to find a good replacement chain. They're all pretty bad (half as many cutting teeth), so I just get the really cheap ones on Amazon.
