Note that these don't have an integrated speaker/alarm. That model is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCT7TH98
These saved me from a massive basement flood when my water expansion tank sprung a leak. I was luckily at home but on a zoom call and the alerts went off constantly every minute or so. Ran downstairs and sure enough, water was starting to creep out of the utility closet onto the surrounding areas. Do yourself a favor and get some sort of water leak detection device. Hopefully you never get an alert but if it happens, these things will pay for itself 100+x fold.
After the leak and faulty tank was replaced, I dried the detector and put it back. Still works flawlessly.

Also as tip, you might be in a panic and not thinking clearly so the first thing to do is to turn off the water main.

Got these last year and have been working without issues. I've tested them a few times with drops of water and it always sends the alert. In for another set, for fridge with water and laundry room.

Bought my first set the other day (with alarm) from the other post, I was interested in the integration to automatically shut off my main from prior govee sales and someone has mentioned that it is very easy to do with yolink.

I already bought another 4 pack and have it distributed but still need to do research on which shutoff to buy

I like the yolink shutoff for the following reasons:

- if you already have a lever/ball shutoff it just needs to be bolted to the pipe. No plumber needed.

- there's a way to pair the sensors to it that don't require WiFi. Benefit is if you're away and the power goes out ( no WiFi) and develop a leak it will still shut off the main, as sensors are battery and the shut off also has battery power.

Last I checked the downside was it wouldn't detect something like a running toilet like the Moen shutoff would. The Moen does not work in power failure though. To me that's most important. Think back to the Texas freezes a couple years ago. Lose electricity and heat. House gets very cold and pipes can freeze and break. If you're home that's tough to go thru. If you're away it's nice to know the house is still protected.

Just to add to the above post, yolink has a all one one device now with shutoff but it needs to be plumbed in like Moen. Alternatively they still offer the one mentioned above which doesn't need pipe to be cut because the arm will shut off your existing valve.

I'm leaning towards the all in one device. I looked at phynn, Moen and like yolink. interestly yolink was the only one using stainless steel for contact with water vs Moen/phynn which are using plastic. I emailed all of them to get the material breakdown.

YoSmart Inc. is headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, and utilizes AWS servers located in the United States and Canada. The current CEO resides in Irvine, CA, and is most likely an American citizen. I work in cybersecurity, and based on my sources, there is no evidence that any data is being sent back to China.

We are all really paranoid.. I don't blame, since there is almost zero oversight on electronics sold in the United States.. American companies get more scrutinized than international ones.
We are all on our own when it comes to connected devices.

That requires plumbing.
I love yolink reliability, but when will they stop bu fling these with the hub? At this point I have 3 hubs and only need 1,becuse when I had to get additional sensors it was more expensive to buy them individually compared to bundle with hub.
Yolink really needs to do a keypad with routine, for example enter code 1234, open garage door 1, enter 2222 open garage door 2, enter 5555 secret code to call 911 and play pre recorded message, enter 9876, unlock front door, etc..

I have this, but this doesn't have an audio alarm. I made sure to buy additional sensors that include alarm and not just app notifications.
