Apple in black and white in AppleCare+ will replace your buds that have battery degradation, which all electronics especially ones with minuscule batteries have
Also one drop on the floor and the sound is ruined, so yeh there are stories of oh i put them through the wash and i dropped them while running working out, those are lucky stories
the drivers in the Airpods are very fragile (opened up on Youtube will point this out) and the Pros are even more fragile with their ANC tech
buying Airpods in 2025, well period, without AppleCare+ is outright idiotic especially for $10
