Three bigger plates are $37 (3x$12.30), and in my opinion family meal is bigger. I always have some leftovers for next day, and that never happened for 3 bigger plates (order for 2 adults and 2 children).

If they give bowls, we all know they load it up with rice, give like 12 pieces of meat, and the rest vegetables. If it is a take out container involving meats and vegetables, they give like a small amount of meat and the rest vegetables. They are as bad as Subway when they portion out everything.

The one I go to would fill up the togo box completely. Any entree with meat and veggies mixed in you'll get way more veggies than meat, so I'd recommend getting meat only entrees and if you want veggies, make them at home.

It feeds 5 people plenty.
I buy a family meal every Saturday to feed the mechanic shop we take cars to. 4 people there and me share one family meal and theres often small left overs.

This, to me, is one of the best deals in fast food. Even better when they do it for $25, but $30 is a good deal for the amount of food you get. Unless you have 5 giant men eating (like me), there is plenty of food. My family of four always has enough left overs for 2 more plates.

Bingo and don't dare go close to closing, they are either out of everything or give you stuff that's been sitting for ages. Portion size really depends on the employee and how much they hate the job lol. Had a few employees give me insane amount.
