It's rated "silver" on ProtonDB but in my experience it is very playable. This year they finally upgraded the graphics engine to the current gen that they had on PS5 and Xbox for the last several years so it's not quite as smooth as last years PC release. I play the game on low with FSR set to quality. I mostly get 60 fps gameplay but I do get a few dips into the 40s. Other than that it has been a very good experience. I haven't had a single crash in over 60 hrs of playtime. Also, the game takes up a lot of space at 140gb+.

Incredibly grindy, but if you're a fan of the series, you already know that.

I only play MyCareer and the Manager mode, so while MyCareer is incredibly grindy, I'm used to the journey of starting bad and having to grind to make a playable character. I bought it for $15 a few months ago and don't regret it for $8 if you have a passing interest in basketball it's worth it IMO.

I wouldn't wait, games server will shut down in 2 years so career mode and other modes that require to be online will not work. $8 is prob the lowest it will go for a single title....
