For those that care... ive had every model in this company.. multiple headsets breakdown and stop working after a year.. some failures as soon as 3months.. I like this brand and the concept but having to buy and replace sets multiple times a year, even if warranty or free replacement ita been nothing been a hassle for the last 7years.. I keep going back hoping each new year model with fix bugs and issues in previous ones but nope.. bought open run 2 in Feb2025 already dying at 3hrs constantly no longer 8hr playtime like the beginning.. just be aware... after this pair I'm switching

I have the open move. I think they are great for listening to my tablet making phone calls and listening to podcast but for music I think it's lacking. I can wear my glasses with them comfortably and ride my bicycle around and have great situational awareness, but like I say for music, not so great.

Yes, same. I am on my third pair of OpenMove headsets in about 5 years. It's frustrating because I only use them a couple of times a week. The warranty is good; the durability is not.

Awesome, that workedwoot. I also used my AMEX Blue Cash Preferred for an additional year warranty in addition to the MFG warranty.

So costco $80 openrun se same as openrun listed here?
Yes, Costco OpenRun SE [costco.com] is the same as every other OpenRun except it's Costco's own "special" color of Dark Gray which is not available anywhere else. So Costco should be the only retailer to purchase OpenRun at this point (since it's $80 vs $100 everywhere else). How do we edit the frontpage to also include the link to Costco's version?

Just to be complete, with respect to warehouse clubs:
Sam's Club didn't lower price for OpenRun Pro [samsclub.com] and it remains at $139. They are however offering $50 off on OpenFit Open-Ear [samsclub.com].
BJ's Wholesale doesn't sell Shokz.

Get the mini then. No difference besides the size of the band. I got the mini to give them a try.

It's exactly the same except for a smaller headband. I would recommend the mini for a smaller head. My head is average size and mini fits me perfectly.

Would anyone recommend these for using at the gym? The issue(s) I can see with this is the band might be in the way if you have your back against a bench, do any pressing that goes behind the head, or doing sit ups and/or crunches. Thank you kindly!
The band isnt a problem, but i recommend the mini so it doesnt stick out. you only need the non-mini if you gave a gigantic head. I still wouldnt recommend at the gym unless your gym doesnt play any music. If it does, you will hear both and wont sound good.

Mini and Standard are just different lengths to the band. You should measure the back of your head from behind the middle of the left ear lobe to the same place on the right ear lobe. If it's less than 9.25 inches, go with Mini; otherwise go with Standard.

55 is still expensive for a Bluetooth headset. Are there Chinese counterpart at ~$20?
And that is why everyone needs Uber or Grub Hub jobs. Man up, open that wallet, and quit cheaping out.

One of the best things about Shokz is you can store them around your neck when you're not using them. One of the worst things about Shokz is sometimes you forget that you've stored them around your neck.

I have the OpenRun Pro (v1). They are my favorite running headphones. Is the sound amazing? No. Is it the best combination of quality, comfort, durability, and safety (open ear design) I have personally found? Yup!Is this the best price yet on OpenRun Pro 2? I am interested!
have the pro 2 and LOVE them. Absolutely love them.
They've been $130 and $135 (when I got mine in December) though.

shokz support is garbage. the rubber pads come off easily and are not replaceable and they don't cover them. replaced with a cheap 25.00 set from amazon and frankly they sound better with better volume than the shokz.
