Unfortunately the frame, hub, battery and bearings are going to go out before the motor, making the cost to repair not worth it.

I am returning mine. I used it every day for a few days to see if the battery life would improve. I used it on mostly flat roads, and I weight 185 lbs. This scooter would not last more than 5 miles in "D" mode (which caps its speed to about 10 mph), and would struggle quite a bit on even 10% inclines, to the point that I had to help it by kicking with my foot. I would have accepted 10-12 miles at this price point, but 5 is really a joke.
TL;DR: save your money, look at other options.

I can do 18mph on my E Trike and that seems plenty.. a scooter would be a bit scary.

For $260, the 5th wheel V30 Pro with 10" wheels may be a better buy.
20 mile range, unlike the 12 mile range V20 Pro a couple of people have mentioned.

I bought one. I'm 6'3 228lbs. Charges fast, simple installation. Ride it around the neighborhood with my daughter. Very Steep hills, I usually walk it up. Flat and downhill driving it will fly. Got it up to 22mph on a downgrade. I should probably buy a helmet.

I pulled the trigger on the Amazon one. We'll see. I have been wanting to get one to go from my apartment to where I charge my EV, about 2 miles away. I have been walking back and forth, and I probably will continue to walk if the weather is nice, but this is a nice option to have for when it's cold out or too hot.

this review basically says it's a hard ride. no shock absorption. probably hard pass

"Overall, for what it is, Good Buy. The turn signals on The handlebars are Great for oncoming traffic. Remember when going up slopes to ride it like a scooter. Use Your foot and the throttle at the same time. The extra "Oomph" gets You up them faster. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a HARD TAIL ride. These are SOLID TIRES. There is NO shock absorption! EVERY 1/4" crack in the pavement, EVERY LITTLE POTHOLE will jar Your back! That being said, BE CAREFUL. If You're not a stupid Youngster on a joy ride and wants to beat walking at 60 years old, it's a good choice . Unit is Good %26 solid. Price is right. Got here the next day like they said. "

True, and you can see that in some of the video reviews on YT, where the camera vibrates even for small pavement imperfections. There are options with front suspensions, for a bit more money:
