Curious if anyone has any feedback on this or the v20 pro model? There are only 120 Amazon reviews or so.

What difference does that make?
Brushed motor requires brush replacement because they wear out.

Unfortunately the frame, hub, battery and bearings are going to go out before the motor, making the cost to repair not worth it.

Ra_mo brings up a good point: Service life on brushes are typically thousands of hours.

Usually only the battery has a shorter expected life than motor brushes.

I have a 3 yo scooter and the battery has roughly half the capacity as when it was new.

And I don't think it is designed to be replaceable. Certainly Hover-1 does not sell replacement batteries.

I feel like amazon has a ton of 18mph scooters for $150-$180ish range when on sale. I don't really see much of a difference in any of them between this price point.

I purchased the hover-1 scooter couple years back for $100 bucks from Walmart on slickdeals. That battery life is a fraction of what it once was.

11% one star reviews doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

I think I got in that same $95 Hover 1 pioneer scooter Hall of Fame deal! Love the scooter! But yes my battery died over the winter but I replaced it with one from Aliexpress for $50 and it works beautifully again! Hardest part is finding the correct cable connection.
