I have 4 Eufy solar cams. In Northern nj, wooded area, never manually recharged them, been set up 1.5 years
Make sure the solar panel is at the best angle in your area and season. There are calculators you can search that give the best angle for your address or ZIP code.
You must be doing something wrong. 4 years, 4 winters here in Illinois and never have i once have to manually charge one

Every single one of my various eufy solar cam turns off when there is no enough sunlight and never turns back on even when it's "charging." I have to unmount it and charge it by plugging it in.

I'm in Los Angeles!!!

Yeah this camera is identical to the S340, I guess Costco wanted their own SKU model number.

I've had this issue as well when I didn't re-orient the solar panel during winter. This became a non-issue after I found a sweet point where it can charge with no issues all year long.

Wish these had that extra $40 off back in December. Remember paying only 80 bucks plus tax then. Still decent if you really need one and can't wait.

I'm in Southwest and bought last year. Aimed it south facing. Haven't had to touch it. Always stays charged 90+.

"Need one and can't wait"? You expect price will go lower? Good luck.

The 2K camera is just okay but the 3k image is quite good for a WiFi camera. Never had to manually charge with the solar panel in direct sun.
