I don't think there are dumbbells with 2" holes. And idk what exercises you could do with full size plates on dumbbells
There are dumbells with 2 inch holes, the issue is the diameter of bumper plates make them impractical for dumbbells! Could you possibly figure out an exercise or 2 to use maybe but they just aren't the best tool for the job! Pretty sure it was a troll post suggesting dumbbells in the first place though!

These are super flimsy and made to be added on with heavier weights. If you left with just these tens on the bar they'll bend and fold over like pancakes. That's why I've only got larger weights 25 and above in bumpers and the rest I'll use regular iron plates since they're smaller diameter and don't touch the ground when using bumpers.
But 10lb bumpers look cooler than tiny iron plates when I'm bench pressing 65 lbs. Big Grin

10lb bumpers are good for getting the bar to the correct height for deadlifts and olympic lifts if someone can't lift 95lbs.

I've ordered multiple pairs of these over the last year. The last few sets have had smaller holes. One set barely fit on an Olympic bar, the other didn't fit at all and had to return. Seems like quality is lacking on the 10s these days, but still definitely worth a chance at this price

The issue is that when you do this, you have to set the bar down VERY gently and evenly each time. And even still, these may have a short lifespan.

That being said, for $12 there's not much harm in trying. Even if you're pessimistic like me.

Can these be used in dumbells?
Diameter is almost 18". You could, but you'd have very limited movement.

I use an olympic dumbbell for single-hand rows. 10lb cast-iron plates are the sweet spot. Preference for my 1" dumbbells since the oly has some spin to it, but otherwise the range of movement is the same.

Need another set of 10s, good price if they don't break like some people reported.

Which is why this is a pretty good deal at $0.58/lb.

I don't even think you can get those tiny fractional plates for under 12 bucks.

I had dbs with Oly holes but it was always super awkward, even with small iron plates. Full-sized plates would seriously limit your ROM but might work for a few things.
really? im liking my dumbbells with olympic holes, im doing about 20-35lbs on it with 10/15 iron plates so pretty small, a little bigger than just a regular dumbbell. It's a little awkward getting it up for shoulder press or overhead tricep

To be fair, that is a weakness of all rubber 10lb plates, not just this brand. They just aren't thick enough to avoid twisting and breaking if they are dropped without thicker plates to support them. Solution is always don't drop the bar if you only have 10lb plates.

To be fair that is a weakness of any brand 10lb bumper plate. They are all too thin to be dropped without a thicker plate to support them.
