Currently have this and a the 11 inch. plan on giving away my 11 inch to my brother since I dont use anymore. Love the size and portability. Wish the screen was a bit more high res but understand its niche in the line up.

I have them both. I love them both. I'd say the 299 one is a better deal. The screen is larger and the clor is nicer. The iPad mini is a size that I like and it will use the new version of the pencil.
