While this might be different at "food grade stainless" which I take to mean 18/10 or 18/8, I've had dishwashing detergent tarnish or stain the inside. I dishwasher clean the lids but hand wash all cups.

I find lid sizes on things like this are often standard so you can just put a generic lid from Amazon on. I just got an extra yeti lid from Ace to go on a hydroflask tumbler I got on sale here. Fits perfectly and still cheaper than just buying the yeti to begin with.
