Depends on what you use them for.
I primarily got these for running. Even with the older version, I only busted them out for gym workouts and running activities. AirPod pros fall out or feel like they're gonna fall out when running or working out due to the sweat build up.
As regular headphones, I prefer my AirPod pros.
As for the Powerbeats pro 2, USB C is on everything including the newer iPhone that I have so having the same cables to charge this with was more convenient. Also, wireless charging capable now so that's a plus.
Now the sound. ANC works, but isn't as good as ANC on AirPods. Other audio options such as transparency mode also aren't as good as they are on the AirPod pros. Not sure why.
Audio wise, I feel like it's a tad bit quieter than my AirPod pros and the sound profile isn't as great. Bass isn't great (seems like they're going away from their bass heavy sound profile that beats was known for). Flats are a little more pronounced. Sound is clear, wouldn't say it excels in any one area. AirPod pros seem to have it beat in this aspect too.
The heart rate sensors work. Forgot my watch on a run and was pleasantly surprised to see that my heat rate was still picked up and appeared to be as accurate as my watch when compared to previous runs.
My only complaints with these are that the tips seem to be a little off. Usually mediums fit perfect but with these, I feel like I might have to go one size up. Also, sweat seems to pool around the top of the tips and sits in your ear. Not sure why, seems to be a part of how the hooks are designed. A little annoying but I can shake the sweat off unless it seeps into my buds then I gotta take off the ear bud and shake it off so it isn't as annoying.
Overall, happy with my purchase but again primarily use them for running as the pros don't do great for running.
These did not replace my pros.

These are really fantastic and have hooks. I've been using them for a year+ and tried the Powerbeats Pro 2s, and went right back to these.
The only issue I have with the soundcore is you can't adjust volume without losing the ability to do something else (like FF, Rewind, play/pause) or vice versa. With the PBP2, you can do everything w/o sacrificing something.
I ordered 3 headphones this week.
Powerbeats Pro 2 (military exchange 199 tax free)
shokz OpenRun Pro 2 155 shipped.
shokz opendots one 192 shipped.
currently use Powerbeats Pro 1 and they still work well, but wanting a new replacement for gym so PBP2 may win for ANC because people at my gym are dickheads and have literal loud speakers for music in there.
but looking for headphones for outside jogging etc, dont love Powerbeats for this because my ears get all sweaty and nasty, so looking into these open ear style headphones too.
all kinds of torn on what to do. can return all of them tho fortunately.

I and I think others would appreciate your feedback if you decide to share it. I have the PBP1s and really like them but am experiencing issues where one will disconnect randomly even though there is still charge left. I like the PBPs because of the ear hooks but also because you can use one bud independently and not lose any functionality.
got the opendots one and OpenRun Pro 2 today, I dont love the fitment of opendots one, but my gf loves them, so those are hers. she is giving me her old OpenRun's for me to run with.
I did order the PBP2 like I mentioned, it says il get them in like a week or two. says apple will be shipping them directly to me, and I am in same boat. I love my PBP1 and I have zero issue with them tbh. but my gym is just too fricken loud now, got a bunch of hooligans (groups of people) in the gym now in mornings all yelling and doing like group fit stuff.
and they have the radio in the gym blaring, its really repulsive, I should complain tbh.
but yeah, I just hope they have a good sound signature. I read 50/50 say it's how the new ones fit your ears if they will work well or not, like if they dont fit / get a good seal with the plugs, they will suck. I also read theres updates people didnt do before they returned them that enhanced the sound quality.
and we dont know what they are using to stream, me, I use pandora, high quality mode, and iTunes directly. EQ off. so I'll post diff scenarios on what I like and dont like.
I paid 125 for my PBP1's years ago, and ive been greatly happy, I wouldn't even complain, its just those monsters at the gym are really annoying me so bad that I have to spend 200 on these suckers.
